A BIT OF HISTORY

B&M has been involved in the transmission industry in excess of 25 years, specifically in the remanufacture of quality torque converters for all stock and performance applications; rebuilding and distributing of domestic, import and performance transmissions; and sales of street and strip related parts and rebuilding kits.

We build and sell stock converters to a large and loyal clientele of transmission centers - the same kind of people as us - those who have tried and tested other remanufactured converters but who enjoy the consistent quality and durability of B&M rebuilds.  We sell performance converters to all levels of  race enthusiasts - those who demand a technically superior product that holds up and delivers performance race after race. 

During our +25 years involvement in this industry we have seen many performance transmission rebuilders come and go.  We have done much R&D on this subject and are working on getting this on-line catalogue together based on the results we have experienced ourselves.

Our experience with many of the performance parts manufacturers' products has resulted in being able to offer you tried and tested components and parts for your rebuild.

The owner and chief technician is a Government of Ontario certified Transmission Technician with over 25 years of transmission and torque converter rebuilding experience.  All products rebuilt at B&M  go through his department for a series of quality assurance checks before and after final assembly.  Each unit is reviewed with respect to integrity of components used and re-assembly techniques.  

In other words, we have done all the homework and can tell you that we have sourced those products and components which we have found to be some of the best in terms of value and quality available in the marketplace -  the products that will stand up not only to our own, but more importantly,  to your expectations for performance and durability.
